Wax Moxa

Formulated to help warm areas of the body to stimulate circulation and lymphatic flow, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain and discomfort. Supports the treatment of pain-related conditions, injuries, arthritis, gynecological issues, menstrual pain, and weakened immune system.

Instructions for Use:

  • Microwave (without lid and spoon) for 2 – 2.5 minutes.
  • Mix with a spoon once liquified and to distribute the heat.
  • Do a small patch test on the wrist to ensure the temperature isn’t too hot (we recommend the temperature doesn’t exceed burning temperature at 108 degrees F). *ALWAYS PATCH TEST FIRST.
  • If too hot, leave to cool off for a few minutes while stirring occasionally. If more heat is needed, add more heating time.
  • Place table paper wax side up over the treatment area of the patient. *Do a small patch test on the patient to ensure temperature is to the patient’s tolerance.*
  • Slowly add wax by layering on in small amounts. You can use the whole pack per treated area.
  • Once all wax has been applied, cover the area with foil to better retain the heat.
  • Let the patient rest and relax for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove after 15-20 minutes.
  • Wax (since solidified at this point) will peel off of the table paper.
  • Wax pack can be reused for a total of 10-15 uses.
