In this course, participants will learn:
– Evidence-based approach to evaluation and optimization of endometrial receptivity- The role of the endometrium in embryo implantation
– Causes of suboptimal endometrial receptivity (structural, hormonal, infectious, inflammatory – Methods and available tests to evaluate endometrial receptivity
– Treatment options for suboptimal endometrial receptivity
– Understand the importance of fertility education and the role that practitioners play in assisting patients in becoming more empowered
– Be able to correlate the 4 Phases of TCM Gynecology to the phases of an IVF protocol – Know how to prescribe certain foods during IVF protocols to impact the quality of eggs and embryos
– Gain further insight into the impact of stress on infertility and how to use acupuncture to help mitigate the effects of stress
– Be familiar with the outcome of a recent Intervention Study that supports the use of TCM Gynecology in IVF protocols
