We are offering an upcoming CEU course series for our practitioners. They are designed to provide education, share resources, and build community by discussion of cases and other various topics of interest.
Dr. Kumiko Yamamoto and Stella Kim will present our first cases in this series. Dr. Yamamoto will present a women’s health case for PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) and its acupuncture and classical formula applications for modern times. Stella Kim, L.Ac. will present a post-covid, immunology case with acupuncture and herbal and external therapeutic applications.
Dr. Kumiko Yamamoto (DAOM, L.Ac.), a co-founder of HerbalTCM, specializes in Women’s Health and Fertility. With extensive experience, she addresses various conditions from infertility, hormonal imbalance, PCOS, endometriosis, pregnancy support, postpartum support, menopause, uro-genital dysfunctions, emotional disorders, thyroid disorders, cancer treatment support as well as in the area of general medicine such as pain, insomnia, and digestive disorders etc. Mentored by renowned doctors, Drs. Daoshing Ni and Mao Shing Ni, she values the importance of a strong support system for practitioners. Dr. Yamamoto is dedicated to giving back by supporting fellow practitioners, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous growth in clinical practice.
Stella Kim (L.Ac.) is a licensed acupuncturist and Director for HerbalTCM.
With a focus on understanding her patients’ unique needs, Stella helps them achieve their health goals by restoring balance and connecting with their innate ability to heal. Her diverse clinical experiences include treating pain, skin conditions, chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, hormonal imbalances, and GI dysfunction. Mentored under Dr. Yueying Li and trained at CedarsSinai Medical Center, Stella is also Level I-certified in Auriculotherapy by the Canadian Institute of Auricular Medicine and a member of CSOMA and ASA.
